Escort Cosworth

You dont have Cosworth's in the US I dont think, cant remember ever seeing one from over there.

In the UK and Europe they are a legend, Cosworth was an engine builder and with Ford they built the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. This dominated every motorsport it entered and the road car was a beast.

A few years later they made the Escort Cosworth, the same 225bhp 4x4 engine and drivetrain in a smaller wider Escort body, every panel was unique to the Cosworth, especially the iconic "whale tail" rear spolier.

This is a special one. When Ford won the Monte Carlo rally they commisioned a special build of some Monte Carlo editions, they had a different interior and were avaliable in different colours but the engine remained the same.

This is 1 of only 25 in the world in this colour and is far from standard.

The original engine has been replaced with a 550bhp Reyland prepared engine, the gearbox and both diffs are massively uprated as are the brakes.

0-60 is in the low 3's, top speed somewhere above 190 mph.
