Hey everyone, I'm Ryan from Maryland.

My three passions are computers, photography, and most recently, my car. I, mostly on a whim, bought a used 2006 VW Jetta two years ago, when I knew nothing about cars. It wasn't until my friend started inviting me over to help him work on his E36 and take pictures that I decided I wanted in on the fun. You may have seen some of my photos of his car on Stanceworks: one (http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2489) | two (http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7038) | three (http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7378) | four (http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8923)

I'm still learning and my car is a work in progress. Right now I have FK Streetline coilovers and Mercedes Six Slots (17x7.5 +46, 205/45/17). I've had both for only a little over a month so I'm still getting used to the "low life".

A little time line:

The day after I bought it.

Laugh but I was so happy...my first mod...clear side markers :D

After putting on the Six Slots. First time I've ever changed a wheel. Look at dat gaaap. Also, one of my mirror covers broke off so I replaced both with chrome ones.

After installing coilovers. Starting easy. Here, the fronts are all the way up, and the rears are all the way down.

The first proper photos. This is how she sits now after bringing the fronts down some. There's half an inch of thread left on the fronts. I think I'm gonna go for it, as well as taking the collars out of the rears.

Lots to come in the future...intake, exhaust, and chip are next on the list. I think I'm going to remove the front plate bracket and zip tie my plate to one of the side grilles. Maybe tint. Maybe black lip/sideskirts/rear valence. Maybe new speakers and a woofer. Wouldn't mind foglights either...

Oh and a Nikon D7000 and a Macbook Pro... ;)
