We need a Canibeat Calendar

Thread title says it all. I'd love a traditional, monthly, wall calendar decked out with photos by the CIB photo crew. I think it's probably a bit late for a 2011 calendar (unless there's one in the works), but setting one up for 2012 could be cool, especially with member input via polls or whatever.

I'd buy one. Hell, make category specific ones (JDM, Stance, Euro, etc.) and I'd buy more than one.

We did this with lady owners of Scions for the Scikotics Car Club - all proceeds went to foundations against Child Abuse...
While I did my work in front of the camera, I know it took quite a bit of work to put the whole thing together... So if this were to happen, I'm sure it work out for the better to be a 2012 calendar as opposed to a rush job for 2011...

But, I like the idea..
And hey.. Everyone needs calendars! lol

Great idea. I did one last year for isfanatics.com. If you need help just say so though I doubt you guys would need any.

Maybe calendars should include a sticker or two also.

The calendar I contributed to got rushed due to the demand...
I ended up pulling my photo before it went to print due to some conflicts, so I never actually got to see them.
And from what I understand, a few things got pretty messed up...

Secondly you should definitely post a thread inviting forum members to submit a maximum of 2 pics of their car for calendar submissions. A limit of two will prevent people for posting 100 pics of their car. Submissions should open in the late spring through out summer when the weather is at its best for pics. All pics should be submitted by end of October to allow for selection, design, pre-ordering, and print time.

Lastly all pre-ordered calendars are mailed a few days before x-mas so that everyone gets them in time for the new year.

This is the method we used when making our calendars and it worked.

Like I said in the OP, I think it's only reasonable to work towards a 2012 calendar this close to 2011...though academic calendars start in August/September, so there's always that route.

In terms of content, I was thinking more along the lines of professional photos of top notch cars...essentially the frontpage stuff. A users' cars calendar would be cool too, but for a CIB branded product, I think it should feature CIB photographers' work. If there's interest in a users' rides calendar, that seems like something we could put together amongst ourselves as a separate project. I'm sure there are people around here with the experience and resources to do that, judging by the other replies to this thread.

So, I think there are two separate ideas here, and I'd be interested in both, but to be clear, I was thinking official CIB calendar + beatworthy, frontpage rides.

I think you should be conatct with the Printing Press company to get this calender or you can also print your name calander on which you can mention your own comapany's name and contact informaiton for the advertisement of your company this si the way you can get this calender and also advertismenet to your company by distribute among the peoples...
