    The Old Head Thread.....

Ok so i think im at a turning point in life, 26, working a 9 to 5, married and kid on the way. Life is good, but time doesnt stop. It now feels like weeks fly by and all i look forward to is pay day.

I think what really made realize there is no turning back is a incident that happened last week. I was at Quiznos getting some food. There was a little kid standing there about 8 or so, he looked my shoes (some typical DC's) and said "you like DC's, I like DC's too" I dont mind kids so i said right on and went about my business. When i was getting in my car is when it hit me. I have been rocking DC's before that Kid was born, WTF! I thought to myself, am I really that old.
I think what i fear the most is getting out of the loop like my folks, who dont own a Ipod or have a Fashion sense.

Yeah I'm 24 and time seems to fly but I wouldn't trade my wife and son for anything. It does suck about the job though, I work at a job I don't really like but its a safe job and pays the bills.

I know wachu mean. I spent 4 of the last 5 years in the navy and I feel like I skipped the "college years" everyone talks about. And even tho I'll be staring college in a few weeks, I doubt I'll be partying more often then I currently do (not much btw). So u can't believe ur 25, well I feel 30 lol

Oh and OP, getting out of the loop is inevitable. But I think our generation is much more progressive then our parents. Just be glad we're not part of the generation of girls that love Justin beaber

Well atleast im not the only one. Its like early 20's are a blast, turn 21, most people start to get established. I just wonder what the 30's are like, will I turn into a bitter man that does the daily grind until I retire.

That's what I worry about, I feel like I grew up quick. I got my current job at 20, bought my first house at 21 got married at 22 and then had my son at 23... Now I'm kinda wondering what's next.

Yeah that's why I have a death grip on my e30 lol, I don't want to drive a boring sedan and live in suburbia.. I could handle suburbia but I'm going to be driving a dropped car and listening to some screaming shit to scare the neighbors lol

I am 21, I own my own house, my car is fully paid off, my girlfriend lives with me, I work 9 to 5, Monday thru Friday, and I have 7 small Vietnamese ladyboys tied in my basement. I am getting to old for all of this.

It's the economies fault. Before all of this I had 20. With another 15 in the shed in the back yard. Times are tough, I had to let some go, like Doves in the wind. I kept the ones that reminded me of the Power Rangers.
