well long story but basically...i tried to put the coils on how they came out of the box with it flush with the bottom of the strut
but when i tried to install--there was no way in hell they would fit on the car that way so i had to make some adjustments
and fit like a glove along with giving me tooons of room to lower the car

i decided on some temp wheels..not as wide as im used to or would normally like but still really dig the design and they are super cheap getting them under 500 shipped

^^^ the hole* thru the lower mount is for threading it up and down so you can get low while not affecting your suspension play and ride quality.

yeah the suspension wouldnt have bolted up without adjusting it

they should fit okay and look super sick tucked behind the rim
these are a 18x7.5+48 on a 06 wrx wagon
so i think a 17" with +40 offset should look decent slammed =]

on to other news...what color should i paint these to go with my odd greenish blue color? i couldnt pass up the offset/price

i too own one of these and but mines a 96 sedan, i believe mica color(brownish metallic color).
how much do those coils run for?

the coils ran me 450 shipped i think. i had one go out on me but they got me a new one the next day!
did you get that one they had up for sale with the front end damage???

i agree. that place is full of people that like to troll! and yea man your car is gonna look nice, with those new rims! that is not bad price for full coils. no i've had mine for a couple years now. Though, I remember last year so some one was selling a 97 gt sedan shell that i wish i would of gotten on craigslist, for like $500.. Had the hood with scoop, all the gt lips, and the gt front bumper with the bigger fogs.

btw what offset are your new rims?
im running 16x7 +35 wedsports and they sit flush.

yeah i got plenty of room! ive seen 8.5+44 on one of these before
i just dont like how much 9"s poke. i wanted to be perfectly flush without doing much fender molesting

tempted to paint it(or the tip?? opinions) black to attract less attention

ordering skirts this week too! maybe get a sti lip to screw/mod on??
