Agreed. No way to stop it other than to just delete when it happens. You have a suggestion?

when you register, is there one of the images that you have to type in what is says...thats the purpose of those things if i am not mistaken

I have a guy that works with me who runs another forum. I will talk to him tomorrow to see what they do to battle the spammers.

When you have as many backlinks as us it gets difficult to handle the spam all the time. The capcha only does so much, once i get caught up on other projects i plan on modifying the registration engine to make it more "unique" and hopefully that will drop some off. We are just so easy to find on google we are a huge target and receive more than other forums might receive.
But if you do find out what your friend does we would love to know
battling spam is annoying! I did make a few changes and it looks to have dropped a good % of the spam but not all of it.

However, while signing up some forums require captcha code which is to be filled. If this process id done by rebot then it will not understand this.......... However a human being may fill up the captcha Code, On the other hand some forums has some rules and regulation which are to be followed...... Otherwise, administrator will provide your the message of spamming............ Thanks

That and why the hell can't I make a thread? It says when I tried to make a intro thread and build thread that a moderator will review it and then it will be posted. If that's the case how is there spam in the first place. I tried to make my intro thread like 3 or 4 weeks ago now and it still isn't there.
