    Jay Speed's Dc5 Build

Hey guy's I've always wanted to start a build thread and im just now to the point that I feel my car has enough things and has come far enough to start one... Hope you enjoi

The day I bought the car 3 years ago

About 2 months after I bought it I purchased VIS CF Mugen hood, A-Spec Full Lip Kit, Type R Wing, Black Housed Headlighs, and Honda Badges...

Shortly After I Had The Hood Color Matched..

1 year later I purchased my first set of wheels 18x9.5 Rota P45 r2 *(fake but sexy) and also got my fenders rolled and BuddyClub N+ coilovers...*

    ...*
And a few days later after the coils settled a tad...

1 month later came my veryfirst Photoshoot and it was done by a great Photographer named Evano...

After that I rocked all that for *2 seasons and then looked into selling it.. But when I could find anyone to pay what I truly wanted for it I decided to go all out this seasona nd make it everything Ive ever wanted in it... And that started out with a set of Bride Low Maxx Reclinables and a DC Sports Stainless Race Header...

Then about 2 months ago I sat down with my Fiance Jenn and we decided to go all out and just do an entire transformation to the car... So here is goes... After selling mu Rota's and doing some serious searching I picked up a set of 17x9 Work VS-XX in horrible condition and decided to rebuild them.

And In doing so I hand polished all 145 bolts to hold the faces on

I ordered new VS centercaps and black Extended lugs nuts from Work Wheels and decide that I was going to do a Full Wire Tuck and Shave and Paint the engine bay and do the wheels in Translucent Candy Teal ad also do the Valve cover in the same color... So chasing down this transformation came a ton of buying and a lot of hard work so I am just going to put all these pictures in order of how they were purchased and what happend...

RBC Intake Manifold (preparing for polish)

Everything grinded down and new port is added to rerun the lines under the intake instead of on top and it now goes in for polish...

Next I got Custom Gold brake lines and a proportioning valve from a 03 EP3 to delete my ABS unit for a cleaner bay, and also got a new polished *Injen CAI

Next I chased down a Karcepts P/S and A/C Delete kit and Alternator relocation kit from Hybrid Racing, And also got a Hybrid Racing Polished Fuel Rail...

Then I purchased a new complete engine wire harness from ChaseBays an started taking the car apart for wire tuck and here is the order it all went in...

Lets take a small brake cause I got my wheels and valve cover back from powder coating...

This is what they look like built

Now back to the Engine Bay, welding up and grinding down unneeded holes and blemishes...

Everything Sanded, Primered, and masked off for paint...

And 3 hours later the bay is finished and the block goes is also sanded and painted to clean everything up...

Got my Intake Manifold back, Fuel rail installed, Brake lines completely Done, changed the color of my wheels valve cover and motor mounts... And am now in the process of putting it all back together...

Finally got done with my wheels... Fully rebuilt them 17x10 and 17x9 Work VSXX with New lips 3.5", New CenterCaps, fresh Powder coat Hawiian Blue Transperant, and 145 assemebly bolts Polished from gold to chrome by hand...

And now everything is in and putting it all back together...
