Exceptionally slow progress is being made on an E30 316 touring that I bought for pitence a few months back. We're slowly stripping her down to sort some issues and then prepping for paint. Fresh OEM red paint, coilovers and Schmidts is the general plan at the minute.

Kirklees and Calderdale council are slowly killing us all round here though, I swear. I'm gonna actually take some pictures of the state of the roads. Pot holes big enough for a small child to fall in them. Being low in Yorkshire sucks.

Hey Joe,

I'm assuming you still post on here so figured I'd pass the message on if anybody was interested seems how you're in the area... There's 2 get togethers on Saturday and Sunday this weekend for Yorkshire heads. UK Car Cruise on Saturday, and the Birstall meet on Sunday.

UKCC - none of us actually know where it is, but there's regional convoys from all over led by people who do. Apparently it's in the South Yorkshire area, but we're all meeting at Hartshead Moor Westbound services ont M62 (between Bradford J26 and Brighouse J25) at 6.45pm. We've not been to this before, but the internet implies there's a rather large amount of people going. Convoy driving so nobody gets left behind.

Birstall - Slightly less organised this, but it's a weekly thing that just keeps getting bigger. Everyone meets in the under ground car park for Ikea which is in the retail park 2 minutes from J27 on the M62 (Birstall/Moreley) between 7 and 7.30. Last week there were probably a hundred plus cars filling 2 floors of the car park, which eventually resulted in us moving to the Showcase cinema car park.

Hope this is enough info for anybody who fancies it to find us.

in wakefield area, havent been to a cruise in a long time, might make an apearace at some shows this year, looking forward to leeds vw harewood house, my brother has won best seat for 4yrs running, finaly this year he doesnt own one so am hopeing to take it away from him

moddified nationals and a couple of local shows, i usualy show with armour automotive (kicker/orion/mutant audio) as i always have a car showing there products and have been sponcered by them in the past, but sadly due to the credit crunch they havent yet got any shows booked so not sure what other shows im doing as yet
