I read a game magazine today, i forgot which, but it said Need For Speed was better for some reason. Like NFS doesn't have old cars, you can also break stuff(thats part of the fun) and some other stuff. Any thoughts on this?

I'm sure NFS has more appeal to the average video game player, but now that reviews are rolling in for GT5... it's looking fantastic

I can't imagine who would say NFS is better. Historically, the GT series has been considered the benchmark by which all racing games are judged. From a gaming standpoint, maybe some would consider GT to be too realistic in terms of physics and more difficult to master. Yes, NFS had damage, but that damage wasn't really accurate anyway. GT5 will have damage, in addition to real world weather changes etc. 1000+ cars.

FCUK!!! My PS3 died yesterday too.... I was midway through the clubman cup and it froze... from that point on it wouldn't recognize any blu-ray movie or game. It will play DVD's though. I talked to a buddy and he said that it uses two different lazers to read blu-ray vs. reg dvd.... so my blu-ray lazer must have gone bad. Of well. I picked up a new PS3 from wal-mart this morning... YAY! black friday. i got it for $300 with 2 games, now I just have to sell those games at Gamestop.
